Update Report: Train Derailment near Lupton, AZ (Gallup Subdivision)

On Friday, April 26, 2024 at approximately 01:42 P.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Lupton, AZ which has affected the main track. Lupton, AZ is approximately 22 miles southwest of Gallup, NM. BNSF personnel are responding to assess the affected area. The estimated time for opening of the main track one is 11:00 p.m. on April 28, 2024. The estimated time for opening main track two is 06:00 p.m. on April 28, 2024.
